The temperature sensor is a part for the oven, on your range. This temperature sensor has a body length of just over 3 inches. The purpose of this part is to measure the temperature within the oven and report it back to the control board where it can be displayed. To make this repair you will need a number two Phillips screwdriver or a number two square-head screwdriver. To replace this part, you will need access to the back of the range. This means you will need to pull the range away from the wall, disconnect the power, and remove the back panel.

Perfect replacement part
The oven temperature regulator came earlier than expected. Only took 20 minutes to install thanks to a utube video I watched while waiting for the part to arrive. The 20 minutes included cleaning adjacent cabinets while I had the stove pulled out! Works perfectly. Saved purchasing a new stove. Highly recommend this company

Getting F 1 and 2 error codes and the oven turned itself off.
Really easy but in this model there are 2 versions of the sensor, male and female. The website didn't have any place to see that. So the first sensor that came was male but we needed the other. After calling they sent me a return form and sent the new part (which was actually much cheaper) overnight and it went in very quickly. Would che

Will this part fix my problem---push bake button and set temp. To 325 or any temp. 100 appears in the dial, but before it even gets to 100 it shuts off---repeat this same procedure many times and maybe you can finally get it to the temp you want and have set. It does this most of the time, but occasionally it will go up to the set temp on first try.
For model number ARDS800ww
Hello Gene, thank you for your question. The first part I would recommend replacing is the temperature sensor. That is the most likely issue. If the sensor is not working it will not read the temperature correctly and not allow the unit to heat. The sensor can be tested before ordering. The only other part that could be faulty is the electronic board. If the sensor does not fix the issue, the oven control board is the faulty part. I hope this helps!

The stove panel indicates a temperature of 350 degrees for the oven. However I checked the oven temperature with an oven thermometer and the actual temperature is 312 degrees. Will replacing the oven temperature sensor correct this, or should we continue to make adjustments to compensate? Thank you.
For model number ARR6400WW
Hi Jim, Thank you for the question. Yes if the oven is not reaching or is going over the correct set temperature, replacing the Oven Temperature Sensor should fix the issue. Good luck with the repair!

How do I test the oven temperature sensor? Oven temp is 50F to 75 F below setting on thermostat, but will sometimes reach the set temperature, especially if set higher.
For model number ARTC7121WW
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your question. To test the sensor, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be for your model, as this varies from model to model. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. The reading should be approximately 1080-1090 ohms. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

I have just moved into a house with a selfclean Whirlpool wall oven. It looked as though they ran the clean cycle before the previous owners left but when i tried to use it would not heat with bake or broil. I replaced the thermal heat fuse and both elements worked just once, then the next time i tried to use the oven their was no heat again.
For model number GBS277PRQ01
Hi Linda, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. The other part you should check would be your oven temperature sensor. That can also be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 1000 - 1100 ohms. If those three parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My ex is renting out her house and the temp sensor code sounds on the lower oven. It is built into the wall and cannot be moved out without taking the cabinet apart. What is the best way to replace... pull out oven cavity from oven or tear unit out from wall?
