Product Description

Dishwasher Door Gasket - Gray Specifications

This gasket wraps around the sides and top of the dishwasher door and helps seal the door when it is closed to prevent water from leaking from the dishwasher during the washing cycle. If your dishwasher is leaking water, first inspect the seal for food particles near the bottom and sides, and remove it. A buildup can stop the door from closing properly and keeping a tight seal. Check the door gasket for tears, cuts, or wear. If the gasket is damaged, you will need to replace it. Before starting the repair, make sure to disconnect the power to the dishwasher.

leaking suds and water front bottom of door
Replaced door gasget took 5 minutes tops. Ran cycle and still had leak. Called local repair person. After thoroughly checking out the dishwasher and running soapless cycle determined problem to be soap build up over time. He ran a commercial cleaner through a complete pots and pan cycle. No more suds and no more leak repair complete. Did not actually need door gagset but it was super easy to change and delivery service was great.

Water was dripping out of the front of the unit down low.
I removed the old gasket, installed the new one which took about 20 seconds.Tested the unit, water was still dripping, but in a different fashion. As per a previous poster's instructions I removed the vent cover. (Located inside the dishwasher up high.)I cleaned out the calcium deposits with hot water and a sacraficial toothbrush. "Ta-Da!" Everything is now groovy!Thank you so very much for your excellent service. Your site was easy to use and your shipping was "lightning fast!" Also, the advice you sent me was invaluable. I thank you, my wife thanks you and my trained lobster thanks you too! :)

Dish Washer was leaking every once and a while. Shield came out and was deformed by heatinfg eliment and was found on the bottom of the unit.
The gasket was a breeze, with just pulling out the old one and slowly pushing in the new in the track with my fingers. The shield was a little harder since there was no instructions before me. It turns out that it fits in the inner door and is used as a baffel for the steam (another problem with leaking out the bottom). After removing the front cosmetic pannel you need to thread the shield inside on three tabs that hold it. It took a few times to orientate it properly but it snaps in when correct. After the front pannel was put on and the unit test operated, the washer no longer leaks. Highly recommend the parts and help from PartSelect and the others before me.

dishwasher leaks from left side of door
The old gasket came out easily, but had calcium deposits in area. I cleaned the area with vinegar and water and waited until it was completely dry. The new gasket went in very easily and looked great. I started the dishwasher and alas, it still leaks, so the problem was apparently not with the gasket, but some other area. But the gasket is nice and new. Any suggestions on next step0 in troubleshooting?

Water leaking from front door of dishwasher
Took less than 5 minutes. Pried edge of old door seal out with a flathead screwdriver, then slowly pulled out old seal. Thoroughly cleaned area for new seal with rubbing alcohol, inserted new seal and trimmed the end to fit just right. Presto, no leaks whatsoever!

My dishwasher is leaking and water running out from under the door and onto the bottom panel all across the door big puddles help
For model number DU930PWSS0
PartSelect logo
Hi Yvette, Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the door gasket to see if there is any damage. There is the seal that runs along the top and sides of the door and one that runs across the bottom. The bottom seal is only sold as part of the door frame. Hope this helps!

How do i know if this the problem to my leak??
For model number DU600PWKQ0
PartSelect logo
Hello Ashley, thank you for your question. If the door is leaking around the edges or corners of the door this could be the cause of the leak. If your dishwasher is leaking water, first inspect the seal for food particles near the bottom and sides, and remove it. A buildup can stop the door from closing properly and keeping a tight seal. Check the door gasket for tears, cuts, or wear. I hope this helps!

Replacing gasket-it is about an inch and a half to long on each side and the bottom hangs out?
For model number DU620PWK00
PartSelect logo
Hi Bob, thank you for your question. We might suggest double checking the installation. We have a video here: https://youtu.be/3sA8N32CBg0. If you still have a little left over that will be alright as long as it does not impede with your door shutting closed. Good luck with your repair.

Hi James, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, we would suggest replacing the Water Deflector, part number PS11746099. The Water Deflector attaches to the front lower corner of the tub to prevent water from leaking through the door. If that does not help, we would suggest checking the Pump Gasket, part number PS384950. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
