We had a bad thunder storm came through while we were away. When we came home we found our gas range beeping and a "fsei" flashing on the display and the oven making a sound and the oven door locked. We unplugged the range and left on vacation for a week. When we returned we plugged it back in and the same thing was happening. What is your opinion and do we need to replace the control board?
For model number WFG361LVQ0
Hi Micheal, Thank you for the question. You can try to unplug the power again for 60 seconds and then plug it back in, Set the oven to self clean and see if the latch will reset. If you still have the error the door latch would need to be replaced. The switches on the latch are giving a bad signal or the latch motor has failed.Hope this helps!
