Can you manually put this unit in defrost to check defrost cycle and element.
For model number WRT311FZDWOO
Hello Mark, Thank you for the question. Use the Whirlpool Defrost button to defrost the refrigerator. Most models have this button near the temperature control unit, but on some, the button is found in the back. Read your instruction manual to find where the button is. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

My evap fan and condenser continuously run and my fridge is freezing things. This all started when my evap fan died. I replaced it. Fridge getting too cold, i replaced the thermostat, but still not shutting off. Would this part be a likely problem?
For model number 10662152111
Hi Eric, thank you for your question. Yes, if you have checked both your fan motor and your thermostat. Then it is likely your electronic control board that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.

My refrigerator went out. It makes a humming noise like the compressor is trying to come on for a few seconds then then makes a clicking noise and turns off then a few minutes later it will do the same thing and the compressor never comes on. I have replaced the capacitor the start relay and still doesn't work. Could the control board be bad?? And if so where is the main control board located on this model?
For model number WRT511SZDBoo
Hello Nicole, thank you for reaching out. The fluctuating humming noise in the refrigerator indicates a defective compressor and not a bad control board. Try to clean the compressor and the condenser coils as they might have become dirty. If this does not resolve your issue, then you may have to replace your compressor, part number PS11755782. Additionally, you can also check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS11740359. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
My refrigerator was running warm (60F). Repairman came to replace eva fan model. After two weeks, refrigerator was running warm again. Repairman came again, this time they said the Automatic Defrost Control board needs to be replaced. Otherwise blockage will occur again. So far refrigerator is running ok. Any advise?
For model number WRT311FZDM
Hello Zung, thank you for your question. We have researched your model and found that the issue is probably with the Capacitor, part number PS11757023. Before changing the control board, first check the capacitor. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
