Hi Lavonne, Thank you for your question. If the timer is not advancing, that is one part that you will need to check to see if it is working correctly. There are some other parts you will need to check as well. You will need to check the cycling thermostat, the thermal fuse, the thermal cut-off, the high limit thermostat, the door switch, the belt and the door catch. The electronic parts will need to be tested with a multi-meter.
