does the metal auger replace the original plastic auger for my ice bin. The fins on my plastic auger have snapped off causing a need for a replacement and I cant seem to find one like the plastic one.

The ice maker bin for my refrigerator has broken (probably from the prolong cold exposure). The auger & motor are apparently working okay (it is a metal corkscrew, not a plastic one on a shaft). Which is the correct part number to replace the bin only?
