This is an icemaker assembly, which is responsible for the creation of ice in the freezer compartment of your refrigerator. If you notice a lack of ice being made or falling into the icemaker bin despite the icemaker being turned on, this part is likely bad or faulty and in need of a replacement. Replacing this icemaker is easy and only requires a screwdriver as it simply connects with its one wire harness. This icemaker is an OEM part and is sold individually, so any other parts for your freezer compartment will be sold separately.

I have attempted to troubleshoot the ice maker in this model, as I have ice forming in the bottom of the ice bucket, and on the bottom of the cabinet that the ice maker is located in. During this process, there is a very small stream of water flowing out of the ice dispenser chute, which in turns flows down the front of the refrigerator. Reading the troubleshooting questions and watching the videos has not helped in the diagnosis of the problem.
For model number GI0FSAXVY011
Hi Arnold, Thank you for the question. This sounds like there is an issue with the Inlet Valve, PartSelect Number PS11752594. The valve is stuck open enough to allow water to flow through and leak causing the ice build up and the dripping from the dispenser. Hope this helps!

The ice maker only large pieces together large strings together and does not come out of the crusher now the ice cabinet stock you can pull out stock I have this refrigerator for one year only i can believe it .
For model number WRX735SHDZ00
Hi Arquimides, thank you for your question. There are two parts that you should check for this issue. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. The valve has two solenoids that control either the dispenser or the ice maker. Even if your dispenser is working the ice maker solenoid may not be and vise versa. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is testing correctly then you should look into your ice maker being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The ice maker has stopped working. I had a technician out to the house and he diagnosed a complete replacement. Do you have a diagram or explanation on how to swap out the assembly? It looks straightforward.

Hello Adam, Thank you for your inquiry. Although we do not have a video for this exact part, I have included a link for replacing an ice maker assembly for a similar model. Good Luck with your repair!

The ice maker fills completely and then auger then freezes over and won't dispense ice. What is the problem? We've tried to empty it more but still produces a lot of ice and the back of the auger freezes solid.
For model number MFX2571XEM3
Hello Mary, thank you for your question. From the description of your issue it sounds like the water valve is staying open too long and allowing too much water into the icemaker/bucket area. We would recommend replacing the water valve first, which is PartSelect Number PS11753408. Good luck with your repair!

Is the ice maker shown a straight swap?. is all wiring modular plugs or is any changing of the wiring harness required for installation. online videos show a fairly easy replacement process but some sites show wiring harness replacements when you order parts. for a full icemaker swap i would hope it would be a straight plug and play.
For model number MFI2670XEM0
Hello Billy, thank you for your question. from the information we have this would be a straight forward swap. Good luck with your repair!

Ice maker in refrigerator now is w10377151
Does wpw10300024 replace old one
Just want to make sure old one does not have switch in cover
That part looks different and no gear under cover showing
So maybe wiring change? Thanks
For model number Wrx735sdbm02
Hello Horst, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched your model and this is the ice maker that is showing as compatible. As per the manufacturer, the new icemaker does not include a new cover, ice level arm, or wire harness, these components will need to be reused from original icemaker. Good luck with your repair.

We had an indication to replace the filter on the front display and the unit stopped making ice. The filter was replaced with no resolution. We returned the new filter and replaced it with another new filter.
The results are the same, no ice, be we have water dispensing. Any ideas?
For model number WRX735SDHZ02
Hello Dave, thank you for a very interesting question. The issue is with the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve is defective, or if it has insufficient pressure, it will not allow water to flow through. As a result, the ice maker will not make ice. Make sure that the water pressure to the valve is at least 20 psi. If the water pressure is sufficient, use a multimeter to check for power to the water inlet valve. If the water inlet valve has sufficient pressure and is getting power, but the ice maker won’t fill with water to make ice, replace the water inlet valve, part number PS11775241. We hope this information is useful!
HI, I'm wondering if you have a complete ice maker in stock for the above model number?
Thank you
