My exhaust switch knob has a metal insert inside the knob that is supposed to grab the multiple speed pin. Your diagram shows a rubber grommet rather than the metal insert i cannot figure out how to fix the multiple speed knob.
For model number KGCD807XSSO2
Hello Robert, Thank you for the question. The metal D shape insert is sold with the knob, PartSelect Number PS11752423. It is not sold on its own. The grommet fits into the hole under the knob to prevent spills from going under the glass and causing damage to the switch. Hope this helps!

Not original knobs, broke
I am very happy with the new range top knobs. Had to backorder, because they were obsolete which took several months and expensive. But the new knobs were well worth the wait. I called several times for updates and the agents were very nice in explaining what was going on. Thanks
