Dishwasher completed a cycle without issue and when reloaded the next day the touch pad showed no lights and the unit would not start. Door seems to close properly. What is the most likely cause--door switch, thermal fuse, control panel? I do not have a continuity tester to check.

I replaced the main control board and the dishwasher still does not run and still no lights on the touch pad. What is the most likely reason after the control board? If the door switch is defective would it prevent the touch pad from operating? Thank you.

If the dishwasher is still not working after replacing the main control board, verify that everything is fitted and connected correctly to the new board, if everything is connected correctly, then the door latch is just one part you will need to check. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. The door on the dishwasher won’t lock and close. I already replaced the latch for it and that didn’t fix it.
