My upper rack, even after replacing the upper rack tracks, would pivots forward or backward out of the horizontal.
It was easy to remove the old parts by using a screwdriver to push in “tabs” that kept retainer clips in place. Once removed, it was a matter of easy assembly in reverse and then re-clip. It became clear that the problem was because a few tabs that click into the sliding track and worn to the point where they no longer retained a tight co

Easy...easy....I first watched YouTube videos on how to fix our problem. We replaced both tracks and also the rack adjuster on both sides of the rack. The entire repair took about an hour and most of that time was spent finding the tools at our house!! I ordered the parts on a Sunday evening and they were at our house on Tuesday!!!

I need to fix my upper rack. I need to know what part to order. Attached to the rack, it's the piece that slides into the rolling circle on the track. Both sides of mine are broken. One in the front and the other the back. I can hardly use it. Thank you

I need a part for my upper rack. When I look at the diagram the part i need is #4 but it does not show the part on the list of replacements. Why is that? Where can I get that part? I need 2 of them.

Hello Kendra,
Thanks for your question. The rack adjuster kit is part number PS10065979, it was formerly an adjuster arm on the manufacturer's part list but redesign caused it to no longer show on the parts diagram. The part comes with both left and right sides together, and it can be ordered online.
I hope this helps.
My top rack is dropping down on its left side. At the front of the rack, there is a bracket that you have to lift up and drop down into a side piece. The piece at the back is okay and fits properly. The bracket connected to the rack on the front is broken so when you lift it up and insert it, it does not stay. I am trying to determine what piece I need to order. Can you help?

Hello Gwen,
Thanks for your question. The adjuster arm clip, part number PS11751100, may be all you need, though you may also wish to examine the rack adjuster for any signs of wear and tear, part number PS11756150.
I hope this helps.
I am looking for ‘part #4’ but is not listed u set the schematic. Where can i find this part ? The clips/ axle that holds the wheel onto part have snapped

Hello Chase, thank you for your question. The item # 4 is no longer available. You would have to replace the entire rack adjuster assembly for both sides, as that is the only way the manufacturer sells the parts now. The part number is PS10065979. I hope this helps!

Hello Lorin,
Thank you for your question. You would need to replace the upper rack adjuster kit under part PS11756150 for your model. Hope this helps!
The left side is working as it should. The right side track appears to be broken. The little blue button that you press to raise and lower works but does not stay in the up position. Not sure which parts i need. Wish i could send a pic.

Hello Jerry, thank you for your question. The little blue button is part of the adjuster housing left side, which is part number WPW10320664 and right side which is part number WPW10320665. The manufacturer has redesigned the rack adjuster assembly which would include all of the parts for the right and left sides of the rack. They made changes to make the parts more sturdy, and less likely to break. You may want to consider ordering the kit which is W10712394. The lever is less likely to break, and the wheels and mounting brackets are metal instead of plastic. I hope this helps!

Hello Bev, Thank you for the question. The clips unsnap from the rack rails. They might be hard to remove. The new ones snap back in place. Hope this helps!

PS10064063 Is this the right part to fix the upper rack? The plastic clips broke on mine and the top rack won’t stay attached. I want to do both sides as one is broken and the other is on its way, any help you can give would be great. Thanks ,

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. The adjuster arm clip holds the adjuster assembly to the dishrack. If the dishrack is loose, then this is likely the part you need. There is also a rack adjuster kit containing both the left and right sides listed for your dishwasher. The original rack adjusters were made of plastic, but Whirlpool has redesigned them, so they are now made of metal to make them more durable. The part number listed under your model number for the rack adjuster kit is PS10065979. If you need help placing an order for these parts, customer service is open 7 days a week and anyone will be happy to assist you. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
The front pieces that hold the top rack onto the side rails both broke. The back pieces are fine. I’m using wire to keep the top rack usable. What part do I need?

Hello Christin, Thank you for writing. The Rack Adjuster, PartSelect Number PS11756150 comes as one piece. We hope this helps!
The left side top rack adjuster piece that moves the height of the upper rack is broken so i can't keep the rack at the highest position. This causes the top rack to be too low for even plates on the bottom rack because they get hit by the water sprayer. Please let me know what part needs to be replaced to keep the top rack up at highest position?

Hello Jennifer, thank you for getting in touch. According to our understanding, the issue is most probably with the upper rack adjuster, part number PS11756150. It lets you change the height of the dishwasher's upper rack. We would recommend replacing it to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!
