CARLENE
June 24, 2019
Our side by side freezer is building up ice on the inside and making it diifficult to open the freezer door. Should we replace the fresh food gasket along with the freezer gasket?
For model number WSF26C3EXW01
Hello Carlene, thank you for your question. Yes, the first step would be to change the gaskets if they are worn, damaged, or not sealing well. If the seals are replaced and the issue continues we would recommend testing the defrost cycle parts like the thermostat, heater, evaporator fan, and thermistor. I hope this helps!
