Hi Daniel, Thank you for the question. When you press the glass on the ice paddle and you can not hear the motor turning on to dispense the ice as if it was not engaged to do dispense I suggest checking the Electronic Control,PartSelect Number PS11740442. If you hear the motor power up like it is trying to turn but it does not move then the motor would need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

Hello David, Thank you for your inquiry. It is accessed behind the dispenser user interface You would need to remove the user interface by using strips of painters tape around the outside edges below the interface and on the left edge and then gently sliding a pair of thin putty knives under the left and bottom edges of the interface to pull it away from the door. Disconnect the wire connectors and use a 1/4 inch nut drive to remove the two screws securing the ice dispenser door assembly. Remove the wire connections from the assembly, and pull the dispenser door assembly with motor from the top to remove it. Use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the motor.
