Hello Robert for the question. There are a few parts we suggest checking for wear or damaged with a Squealing sound while tumbling. The most common are the Dryer Drum Support Rollers, Drum Support Roller Shafts, Rear Drum Felt Seal, Seal and Bearing and the Two-Piece Split Ring Bearing. These parts can wear over time and cause the noise you are hearing. We also have How to Videos for each of these parts on the site so you can do the repair yourself. We hope this helps!

Hi Tom, Thank you for your question. If you are overloading the dryer with wet clothes, this can cause both the belt and the rollers to wear out and eventually to become damaged or broken. You will need to check the belt, the idler pulley assembly, the drive motor, the rollers, the shafts and the door switch.
