This manufacturer-certified drip bowl is also known as a drip pan, and it is designed for use with cooktops and ranges. It sits below 8-inch burner elements and catches drips and spills from the cookware on the burner. The diameter of the drip bowl is approximately 10 inches. This replacement might appear slightly different, but it will fit your appliance. You will need no tools to complete this repair. Simply remove the burner element, remove the old bowl, line up the hole on the new bowl with the terminal block and drop it into place. Make sure the bowl is flat before reinstalling the element. While you have the element out you should inspect the terminals for corrosion, damage, or discolouration. If you notice any of those things you should also replace the element and terminal block. You will need to replace your drip bowl if it is lost, damaged, or can no longer be cleaned. This replacement part is sold individually. To extend the life of your new drip bowl we recommend you clean it regularly with soap and water. We recommend only using the recommended drip bowl for your appliance; generic versions will not fit properly which could affect the performance of your elements and cause long-term damage.

Hi trying to order the right drip bowls but mine doesn’t measure to be six inches it measures to be about seven and a half inches is this still the part I need?
Hello Tom, what you are looking to measure should be the diameter of the outer edge where the drip bowl will be placed. The 6-inch drip bowl is found here W10196406RW, and the 8-inch can be found here WPW10196405. Best of luck with this repair!

How do I measure for a drip bowl. Inside or outside?
Hello Chris, you need to measure the inner diameter of the drip pan, or measure across the “hole” so to speak. You could also measure the size of the element to see whether you need an 8-inch or a 6-inch drip bowl. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Why do your drip bowls have holes in the middle but mine doesn’t? am I looking in the wrong place or something
Hi Sonya, this drip bowl may look different than the original, but that is because it is a replacement part and is used for different models of ranges. The manufacturer does list this W10196406RW as the 6-inch drip bowl for your unit, and WPW10196405 as the 8-inch. It should work just as well as the one you are replacing. I hope this helps!

The standard 6" and 8" drip pans are about 1/4" too big for this stove. They will not fit snugly on burners, but sit a bit high (so they are wobbly) on the stove top. I've tried several brands, but they all pose the same problem.

I asked if the drip pans came in black porcelain, and you answered, but you duplicated the numbers for the 6" drip pan, i need the part number for the 8" as well. Please send, and thanks!

Hi Karen, the drips pans are part PS11750107 and PS11750108 .Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
I am worried about ordering this replacement. I bought a set of drip pans for my stove a while ago and they were also somewhat universal. The 6" ones fit okay, but the 8" ones just wouldn't set flat not a good fit. Do you promise these will fit my Maytag stove?
For model number PER5510BAQ
Hi Suzanne,

The drip pan that came with stove does not have an opening in the center but has opening for the element plug. The opening in the center of the drip pan looks like it would ruin the sheet metal. It is very thin there. I prefer that it doesn't have this opening. Where could I find them?
For model number WCC31430AW00
Hi Maureen, Thank you for the question. Very sorry but the manufacture only makes these drip pans with the opening in the middle. The drip pans with the closed bottom are no longer made but these will fit and work fine for the model number provided. Hope this helps!

oven wouldn't heat
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires, then removed element and replaced with new .
Drilled out old and broken hold down clips, installed new ones(4). Cut old wires attached to surface plug in block, striped wires, and attached new plugin kit(4), warmed up heat shrink with a hair dryer, put in new drip bowels, the stove is like new. I ordered the parts on line early one morning, the next day they were at my door and installed that day, everything that I ordered was there, and fit properly.
Removed the two screws holding the heating element to the back of the oven. Pulled the wires away from the connections of the old element and connected the new element. Reinstalled the screws holding the element to the back of the oven. Easiest repair I've ever done! Replaced the drip pans on the cook top and installed the new clock knobs. Good as new!
Needed to replace chrome drip bowls and replace one of the hold down clip since previous owner used incorrect drip bowls and put pressure on the hold down clip.
Pulled out the electric element from the range, replaced the new drip bowl on three of the burners and then replaced the electric element pushing it into the hold down clip. On the fourth burner, I removed the electric outlet, the previous incorrect drip bowl and had to drill out the broke off hold down clip that was no longer there. Next I placed the new hold down clip in position, alligned and fed the little screw through the hold down clip. I used a vice grip to hold the nut in place and with a screw driver tighened the nut. I placed the drip bowl in place, attached the electric element and slipped it into the new hold down clip. Everything went smoothly and I experienced an excellent repair job. We received prompt service and had no problems. I just hope the used appliance that we bought works now. It looks great. It is for a rental unit.
one of my burners would only work half the time, and you had to wobble it to make it work
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires, connected the new element using the wire caps, and finished bye rescrewing the element backinto place.
We love our Jenn-Air electric range that we have owned since 1983 and couldn't get parts from where we bought it recently. We called around to Sears and other appliance dealers and they couldn't help us. We found your company searching on the internet and we are very much pleased with your parts listing and your great service. We will be back. Jody and Mike Hayden, Eden, Vt.

Easy reorder
The drip bowl was dented on shipping. A credit was issued, a new drip bowl sent and charged. However I was surprised to have to pay shipping. The credit should have included shipping cost in my opinion.
