This manufacturer-approved Rack Stop Clip is a gray plastic part which can be installed with a screwdriver. Measuring slightly over an inch in length, it prevents the rack from sliding too far and falling off. If broken or damaged, then the rack will slide too far and this is a sign the part should be replaced. It attaches to the end of the top dishwasher rack. This clip can be used for the left or right side, and is sold individually. It is a good idea to replace both sides at once. To make this repair, start by pulling out the rack, then, using your screwdriver, reach in behind the rack stops and press the clips in. You should be able to remove the stops from the track from here. Next, you should be able to slide the track back over the rollers and snap the new track stop into place.

Perfect purchase
The part was exactly right, same as old part. It was easy to install and works great! The only bad thing was the shipping cost that was high for the weight of the item. I would purchase again however!

Left side rack clip came off
I took the top dishwasher rack off, then took off the old clip I had taped on. I hadn’t watched the video so I put the new one on by looking at the other side rail and inserted the new part matching the other rail, clicked the new clip on and I was done. it was quite easy for an eighty-one year old woman!! Top rack rear stop broken
Remove any pieces of the rear stop by prying it off the end with small flat blade screwdriver. Make sure rack is fully on the roller tracks and then carefully push the new plastic end piece onto the rack. Be sure to orient it correctly by checking the end piece of the other rack. I ordered two and replace them both at the same time.

The rack stop clip on the upper right rail broke. I ordered two replacements and installed the part in about 15 minutes!
I pulled the upper rack out of the dishwasher. I then removed the broken rack clip stop on the right side and reinstalled the new replacement clip. I then put the rack back onto the rollers and voila, the upper rack no longer fell down off of the tracks!! Problem solved and the replacement clip only cost $8.95!!

replace parts to basket
did need the strength of husbands hands to pop out old parts
Fully loaded top rack would detach from track when pulled out for emptying.
Removed dishwasher from cabinetry to replace tub rollers (4). Replaced roller sets (4) on top rack. Also replace both rails and rail stops. Screwdriver was only tool required for this part of repair. Needed wrench and screwdriver to remove and replace dishwasher in lower cabinetry.
I used pliers to pull the old clip out and pushed the new one in. Easy as that!!

How do I take this part off to replace it
Hi Oscar, start by pulling out the rack. Then, using a small flat blade screwdriver, reach in behind the rack stops and press the clips in. From there the stops can be pulled off the track. I hope this helps!

The upper dishrack in my dishwasher keeps falling off of the rails. This is a gently used dishwasher and I wanted to confirm that this is the rail stop part I would need to prevent the top rack from coming off
Hi Paul, yes, this is the right part. The purpose of the rack stops clips are to clip in at the end of the top dishwasher rack to prevent it from sliding out and falling off. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Looking for the dishrack stop for my upper dishrack on my dishwasher. I think my unit has two of these- one on the left and one on the right. Does this purchase only come with one stop and is it for the left or the right or both?
Hello Mike, this order will come with 1 dishrack stop, and can be used for the left or the right side. If both dishrack stops need replacing, you will have to purchase 2 of these. Best of luck with this repair.

Re: Wpw10195622 “rack stop clip”. Your answer to multiple questions (paul, et al) is wrong. This part goes in the back end of the “slide rail”/“drawer track” (wpw10195623) to keep the track from coming off, and to remove or replace when removing and replacing the rail. It is more robust than the front rack stop, which is part of the “drawer track” assembly and apparently not available separately. This front stop consists of a robust plastic base, that is molded (melted) permanently onto the front end of the metal rail (“track”), and a flimsier plastic from stop that snaps on and swivels 90 degrees to allow you to remove the drawer for cleaning. This front swiveling drawer stop is the one that breaks so that the rack comes off the rail if you pull it out too far. The only way to get this part is to replace the “drawer track” (above), or canabolize another machine, since it is part of that assembly.

Hi Tim,
Thank you for your information, that is very helpful. One thing to note is that not all models are actually formatted the same. Though many models use the same sort of parts, they are not all used the same way. Some models use this clip as the front piece, in your particular case it is used as the back piece and the front piece only comes with the rack track. If you ever have any questions about parts just let us know, we can generally determine what part goes where by using your diagrams. I hope that helps. Have a great day.

Is the stop clip the same on the front of the rack and the back of the rack?
For model number KUDC10FXWH5
Hi Penny, thank you for your question. They would be different parts. The front clip is offered separately but the back clip is only offered with the track. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

This is a follow up question from yesterday about the stop clip on the upper rack of my dishwasher. The picture of the rack shows the stop clip being at the back of the rack, but the answer i received yesterday stated that the stop clip is sold separately for the front and the back clip is sold connected to the track--which is correct?

I need to replace the upper rail clip so the wheel does not come out when the basket is pulled forward. The instructions say a screwdriver is needed to remove the old and screw in the new clip. As i look at it, it does not screw and has more of a rivet attachment. Do i need to replace the whole rail ? Is there instructions ?

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. We had a similar question asked by another customer, here is the answer: start by pulling out the rack. Then, using a small flat blade screwdriver, reach in behind the rack stops and press the clips in. From there the stops can be pulled off the track. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The front clip on the top rail has broken and i'm wondering if this can be purchased separately for this model or if i need to get the entire rail. Note that this clip on this model is different than the back clip. It snaps open so that you can remove the top drawer completely.
For model number 13922k012
Hello Nicky, thank you for your question. The front clip on the upper rail is only available by ordering the whole rail. You will have to order PartSelect Number PS11750072. Good luck with your repair!
