The dryer took at least 3 rounds to dry light clothes and 4-5 for towels.
This was my second time making repairs. The only difference this time I replaced all parts from top to bottom. When I pulled the heating element out only one coil was working the others had burned out. It was easy to do and the videos on the site are very helpful and informative. I followed the steps and if I thought I missed a step I replayed it again. I am a woman and found it very easy and not at all intimidating at all. I am going to hopefully have it for another 10 yrs. You guys keep up the good work.

Dryer worked but didn’t have enough heat to dry clothes. Would take 7 cycles to dry 4 pairs of jeans.
First unplug dryer from receptacle. Took off back of top panel where the timer is. Unplug the wires from timer. Took selector knob off then Took out the two screws that was holding timer in. Got my ohm’s meter and checked timer and seen it was bad. Order timer from PartSelect.com when it came in I took it put in cabinet where old one was replaced the two screws that holds it in plug wires back in. Put selector knob back on put back panel on with the six screws. plug dryer into receptacle. Now dryer works like it’s supposed to. It dries clothes in one cycle.

High heat on dryer timer stopped working.
Unplugged dryer from outlet, disconnected dryer vent line, turned dryer around, removed timer knob, unscrewed timer unit, unplugged 3 electrical connections from timer, plugged 3 electrical connections to new timer, screwed timer unit back on dryer, replaced timer knob, turned dryer back around, plugged electrical cord back into outlet, reinstalled dryer vent hose. Tried dryer with a load of wet clothes. IT WORKS FINE AGAIN. I'm not a pro plumber but this timer change was super easy with no problems at all. The timer was $20 cheaper from the site than from a local plumber. My first time with the site but, for sure, not my last. Thanks.

Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. Based on what you described, it sounds like the settings that are not working are the ones that are used frequently. If they are not working then those settings could be worn out and you will need to replace the timer. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Hello Kevin, Thank you for your inquiry. I would check your dryer door switch, the timer, and the push to start switch. You can test the parts with a multimeter. If you are unfamiliar with how a multimeter functions, there are YouTube videos available to assist you. Hope this helps!
