Dryer would intermittently work on economy drying, never on timed dry. (Heat failed tumbler was always good)
Disconnect power cord. Removed upper and lower panels. Disconnected "push on" spade connectors and removed the single screw holding each device and removed same. Timer had a two multi wire plug and 2 screws. Reversed process and installed same. Was fairly sure only timer was bad. But due to age of dryer and posts found here, decided to just install fuse and cut out. Everything works perfect!

The dryer drum was running and there was no heat.
I will be very honest. I watched between 5 and 10 youtube videos. I did a lot of circuit checking with a Simpson Meter. One video suggested checking the timer. The meter indicated an open circuit on the heater terminals for the timer Sure enough when I opened up the time you could see arcing on the contacts of the timer switch for the heater part of the circuit.

My dryer stops before the timer reaches the end. The air tumble cycle will not turn on. I replaced the dryer cycling thermostate. but this did not help. Is my issue the timer? Low heat cycle works and the high heat cycle works.

When I zoom in on the picture of your part WPW10185970, it shows 230VAC 60HZ 3W, my part when we removed it shows 115VAC 60HZ 3W. Why is this different and can I replace it in my dryer safely.

My dryer will not completely dry a load of clothes. I have replaced all the components on the backside of the dryer. Now it seems my only other option is to replace the timer control or whatever it’s called. What do you think or recommended?
