Right part but way overpriced
Staff was helpful and I thought this required a special bulb not readily available. They confirmed that the manufacturer had changed the requirement and so I bought the bulb from them. Overall a good experience but feel like I overpaid for the part.

Works great
The replacement bulb works perfectly and was very easy to install. If you own a Kitchenaid oven, be certain that you use the correct model number when selecting the part. Kitchenaid uses almost the same model number for several different ovens - only the last two digits differentiate which bulb you need. I ordered two wrong bulbs before I find the correct bulb. At $25-$35 each that is a relatively expense mistake!

Very Slow delivery.
Delivery of the bulb took over two weeks when they advertise 2 days. When the bulb was finally received, the installation was simple and we now have light back in our oven.

Replace KitchenAid oven light bulbs
Pull the end of the lens nearest the oven door out of the oven wall. Because our oven is several years old and the bulbs had not been previously changed, I could not pull the lens out with my hand, so used two small screwdriver under the metal tabs which hold the lens in place, the metal holder came out with the lens. Once the lens is removed, simply pull out the old bulb and, either while wearing surgical gloves or holding the bulb with a cloth (do NOT allow bare skin to touch the bulb or you will be replacing it again sooner rather than later), push the new bulb's pins into the socket. The lens then is simply pushed back into place.

How do I change the light bulb?
For model number KEBS207SSS04
Hi Roberta,
Thank you for your question. To install this part make sure your appliance is disconnected from the power. You can use a small screw driver to pry off the light lens on the back wall of your oven. Once you have that off you can replace your bulb. Make sure not to touch the new bulb with your fingers uncovered. If you do that can cause your light bulb to break quicker than usual. So just make sure to handle it with a pair of gloves on or a towel. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
