The control board skips some cycles, is there a part that needs to be replace other than the control board, like a fuse?
For model number du1055xtvd1
Hi Ron, Thank you for the question. The fuses and relays are built into the board, so the full board will need to be replaced.Hope this helps!

Hi Serafin, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the Bi-Metal Fuse,PartSelect Number PS2360984. Use a multimeter to test the fuse for continuity and replace it if it is not showing continuity. Hope this helps!

Will not operate clean light on panel just blinks
For model number GU2455XTST3
Hello Al, Thank you for your inquiry. We would recommend checking the following parts to fix your issue: door switch, heating element, bi-metal fuse, high limit thermostat, and electronic control board. You can test the parts with a multimeter. You should get a reading of between 5 and 30 ohms on the heater if it’s good and less than one ohm on the high limit thermostat and fuse. I have included a link to our article on how to test the door switch. Hope this helps!

The part has more ribbon connector pins (15) than the ribbon connector (14). Does the connection start on the board with the pin labeled "p1" or the pin next to it. When i unplugged the ribbon connector i didn't note if the p1 or the pin on the other end was left open. Neither of the videos mentioned the alignment of the ribbon pins. Intuition says it starts with p1, murphy says it doesn't. Please let me know.
For model number wpw10084142
Hi Bob,
Thank you for your question. You would start at P1. There are some appliances that this particular board goes to that has more pins, that is whey there is extra on the end. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Control board has no power i do have power thru the fuse ? Control board bad?
For model number GU2455XTSS3
Hi Frank, thank you for your question. You may have to take a look at your door switches. If those parts are not working it will believe that your door is open and so no power will connect to the control board. You can test those switches with a multi meter. They should be testing 0 ohms. If you are not sure how to use a multi meter we have a tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. Good luck with your repair.

For model number KitchenAid KUDK03CTWH3

I replaced the control panel and still have no power to the control panel. What else could it be?
For model number 8647203433
Hi Jesse,
Thank you for your question. If you replaced control panel on the dishwasher and you still have no power to it, you may need to check the electronic control board and the door latch with switches. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

This Whirlpool dishwasher has power, but cannot select any button to start a washing cycle. Main problem is light blinking on normal wash cycle and no selection can be made to advance any cycle. Tried the lock on/off as instructions on the door, nothing would advance system’s.
For model number DU1055XTVD0
Hi Roger,
Thank you for your question. If a light on the dishwasher panel is blinking and the cycle will not advance, there may be an issue with either the door latch and switches, the heating element, the water inlet valve, the pump, the control panel or the electronic control board. You will need to inspect and test these parts to see which one is causing the issue. Sometimes a film may build up on the on the end of the control panel ribbon cable that attaches to the electronic control board which may prevent the dishwasher from working correctly. This film may be removed by gently using an eraser to rub it off. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

Dishwasher was taking way too long to go through its normal cycle; the indicator lite did not advance to DRY.
Remove just the 6 Phillips screws holding the control panel assembly to the top of the door. Panel lifted off, clearing the latch assembly. Rested it on my knees as I sat in front on a chair. Control board is right there. Wiring plugs easily pulled off the old board. Their locations are clearly marked on the board by wire colors. Removed screws holding old board, replaced with new one, plugged wires onto the new board. Screwed the control panel back on the door, being careful to clear the door latch assembly. Ran the dishwasher through a test cycle (time not included in the repair)and it works like new. Probably saved $150. in labor service charge.
