Blinking normal cycle light. Press cancel and cancel light blinks with normal cycle light. No other lights or functions operate when pushing other buttons. Reset power and returns to blinking normal cycle light. This condition is the same with door open or closed. Should i replace the circuit control board or something else? Thanks.
For model number KUDI02IRBS2 Kitchenaid diswasher
Hi James,
Thank you for your question. If the lights are blinking on the control panel, this may indicate that the heating element has burned out, the drain pump is not working correctly or the touchpad and control panel may be defective and you will need to test the parts with a multimeter to see which part is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Only 3 control lights light-up: Light/china, quick clean-up and rinse only; with quick clean-up, 'heated dry' also lights up, but they work this way whether door is open or closed; and neither the 'start' button nor the 'cancel' button will work - again, whether door is open or closed. Obviously, the control board is not powering up. There has been no sign of the pump not working. So, what should I do next? Control board and/or control panel?
For model number KUDP02CRBS2
Hello Glenn,
Thanks for your question. We would advise replacing the control board first, as that is the most likely solution for your issue. Only if that does not work would we advise replacing the touchpad itself.
I hope this helps.

Clean light blinks 7 times, tried to reset the circuit board by pressing the high temp and heat dry buttons, all the lights on the panel light up and then i press cancel but the clean button still blonks and it will not power on not sure what it is
For model number KUDS02FRBL0
Hi Chris, Thank you for your question. When your appliance will not turn on there are a few parts that you need to check to see if they are working correctly. You should take a look at your bi metal fuse, your door switch, and your high limit thermostat. If all of those parts are working correctly. Then it may be your control board that is the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My Whirlpool quite partner ii model # du1145xtpba, when pots/pans button on the cycle are pressed all lights start to flash. How do I fix it?
For model number DU1145XTPBA
Hello David, Thank you for the question. The Controls may need to be reset. To reset it, you will need to have the door open and leave it open. Press "Heated Dry," "Normal," "Heated Dry," "Normal" within three seconds of the first pressed button. Now close the door, this should reset your dishwasher. We hope this helps!

Some times (after three or four successful normal cycle uses), before a normal cycle is complete the washer stops and leaves a full tub of clear water {thought to be final rinse water). One time the water was cloudy/milky. The tub empties when the cancel button is pressed. What part is most likely causing the tub to not empty normally?
For model number KUDP02FRSS1
Hi William,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not draining as it should, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the drain pump, the sump check valve, the chopper assembly and the drain hose. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My dishwasher won't power up.... i can only assume its the control board.is this the correct part number( ps 11748229) for my dishwasher?
For model number KUDS03FTSS
Hello Sam,
Thank you for your question. Our sources say that it could be the bi-metal fuse that could be causing the dishwasher to stop running, its under part PS2360984 for your model, we suggest checking the fuse first before replacing the control board under part PS11748220 for your model. Hope this helps!

Dishwasher will start sometimes, and sometimes needs to be opened and closed with another push of the start button several times before it will start. Replaced door switch with partselect part without improvement. How can i tell if the problem is with the push pad or the control board? Suggestions?
For model number KUDU03FTPA3
Hi Art,
Thank you for your question. Based on what you described, it sounds like the problem is with the electronic control board. If you wanted to verify if it was either the touchpad or the electronic control board that was causing the issue, you would need to use a multimeter to test the continuity of each part. If it turns out that these two parts are not causing the issue, there are some parts that you will need to check. You will need to check the bi-metal fuse, the circulation pump and motor, the high limit thermostat, the heating element and the sump and motor assembly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Lights flashing on the selections and nothing but the cancel button working
Take the 6 torx screws loose and pull down the face. Pop out the bi-metal fuse that is in the current board. Unhook the wires attached. Pop out the old board. Attach the wires to new board. Put the bi-metal fuse back in the board. Re-attach the face on the dishwasher. Be sure to unplug from the outlet before starting. When finished plug dishwasher back in. This fixed my problem.

dishwasher would not run, only one led on touch panel lit.
Read dianostic sheet included on dishwasher lower panel. It stated to not replace both touch panel and circuit board until you run the dianostic tests. Great fro the manaufactor to save parts money, but the testing would take another hour to perform, so, I was already saving $200 to $300 by doing the repair myself, I replaced both, working slowly and carefully. about 1.5 hours. total cost of both parts was under $300 shipped to me in 2 days. great service for sure. dishwasher onw works correctly. I suspect lightning damage, as we had big thunder stroms earlier that week.
Pulled the inside door panel off - accessed the control board, replaced it - no improvement - called a service tech to come out.

Dishwasher would not work
Major appliance retailer sent out a repairman to diagnose the issue with the washer. They determined the control board needed to be replaced. They wanted twice the price for the part plus an additional two hundred dollars to return and install. Total time to remove and replace the part less than fifteen minutes. I purchhas same issue. Once again the repair people, (another $80.00 for the second service call), say the control board muased the part from Part Select and installed myself. Washer st be replaced. I will purchase another dishwasher.
