Can’t get top open to go get tub out to replace bearings
For model number WTW6600SG2
Hi David,
Thank you for your question. There is a video on our website that you can reference on how to dismantle the washer, so you can access the tub bearings. The bearings and the washer in the video may not show exactly like the one you have, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. Replace hinge and hinge spring assembly.
I mounted the left and right hinge assemblys into the washer (spring assembly) and then mounted the glass top on to the hinge assemblies. Inserted the screws and tightened as required.
