Ordered the bad parts, got them within a week (this was over the hoildays), took about 15 minutes to get the new parts in and the dishwasher running. It runs great now, very quiet, it's like a new dishwasher for $30. P.S. I had to order some extra parts because one of my dogs was helping me and chew them up.
removed lower spray arm and the 6 torx screws that hold the pump cover and secondary filter housing. Removed it and the filter. Removed the pump housing and removed the impeller nut with a 5/16 nutdriver. Removed the old impeller and put in the new one. Replaced the parts in reverse order.

Cannot secure jump up nozzle . I recall that when i took the part off that it came off with a twist of a flat blade screw driver. What is the purpose of this item? It seems to just sit above the discharge housing nut. Is this part supposed to attach to the housing nut?

Hello Ralph,
Thank you for the great question, The long part of the nozzle goes into the hole in the center of the arm. It should be loose so it can jump up with the water pressure and helps the water come out with more of a force, Kind of like putting your thumb over the end of a garden hose.

How does the loose jump in nozzle come off and the spray arm? I'm trying to get to the filters so i can clean them.Please help

Hello Michael, Thank you for your inquiry. The jump up nozzle is supposed to lift out, after removing the lower spray arm. To remove, turn the lower spray arm cap counter clockwise, then lift out the nozzle. The lower spray arm and filter guard should then just lift right out. Hope this helps!
