Upper Spray Arm Assembly WP99001586

The upper dish rack was in the way for my old body and short arms to reach the nut, so I had to pry the plastic bumpers off with a screw driver and remove the rack. From there you could almost do it with your eyes closed. Unscrew the old spray nut, screw in the new one and pop the spray arm on. Slide the dish rack wheels into the rail tracks push it closed, and insert the plastic bumpers. The only tricky part was the bumpers. You have to pry the forward-most piece of plastic away from the piece behind it. That pulls the holding edge out of the slot in the rail, and the bumper comes right out. Putting it back just takes a push from your thumb, and make sure the holding edge is back in the slot. Before I put the new nut on, I compared it to the removed one - it was obvious that the latching ring on the old one had been worn by the rotation of the Spray Arm, so the water pressure was all that it took to push it off.

After reading other customer comments I knew what to order. When the parts arrived all I had to do was unscrew the nut and screw the new one on and snap the spray arm into place. As easy as that.

I ordered the new spray arm and nut, snapped them together, screwed the nut onto the screw and started a load of dishes. That's how simple it was. Glad I found your website. Thanks.

Unscrewed old nut, inserted new nut into new spray arm and screwed the assembly back in. Took less than one minute. Requested the 3-5 day delivery and received parts on second day. After examining the old and new parts it appeared the nut was the only part I would have needed, but since parts were less than $5 each I did not want to take a chance. Total cost was $16, the shipping being the most expensive item but much cheaper than paying for a service call.

Put the spray arm in and pushed it on.

I looked on your website, thanks to my daughter-in-law, and found not only the pieces but notes from others who had solved their similar problems at little cost and no time. So I ordered the parts, they came in a couple of days and in a very few minutes the washer was working again. And the pieces are staying on. Thanks for the parts and especially for the info and encouraging notes from other. By the way, I'm 75 and figured since a 71 year old woman did her machine I should be able to do mine. And I did. Dishwasher water arm on the top started falling off. So went online and looked up the make and model. Found out that it could be two parts causing the problem, shopped for them online and found them for less than $4.00 each ordered both not knowing which I needed (shipping was $7.99). Got them in and replaced them myself. No tools at all needed, dishwasher fixed for $15.00 in about 5 minutes....yeah me!!! PS I'm a 61 year old woman and proud of my accomplishment.

Unscrewed old plastic nut. Attached (snapped) new sprayer arm to new nut & screwed it on. Repairs just don't get much easier than this!

the spray arm is held in by a plastic bracket that snaps on or off over two points. I was able to remove the bracket without using any tools,just my fingertips. It is really simple!

I just unscrewed the old nut and screwed in the new one and popped in the spray arm. It actually took me longer to type this than to make the repair. It was awesome!
