According to our research, if the gas line that supplies the gas to the stove is over-pressurized, it will cause the gas to flow at a higher pressure than it should. This can cause a high flame when the burner is turned on. Another cause of a high flame is if the burner is clogged or dirty. When the burner is clogged, it restricts the flow of gas to the burner, causing it to flow at a higher pressure than it should. Check the burner for any clogging and clean it if you find any. If this does not solve the issue, then we would recommend checking the following parts: burner valve, part number PS11748993, and wire harness, part number PS11756163. We hope this helps!
