Igniter problem on one gas burner
I had to remove the two separate components of the gas burner unit, each had two screws. I lifted then tilted the lower portion of the burner unit to allow access to the underside of the igniter. I removed the wire and then with an offset screwdriver I removed the single screw that held the igniter in place. I reversed the steps to inst

The flames on my two front burners have been getting lower and lower and now only partially light. I can only use the back burners at this point. I don't know which part is defective to be able to replace it. Can you help?
For model number KGRC707LBS0
Hello Elaine,
Thank you for your question. If the burner flame on top of the oven appears to be less impressive than normal, the problem could be clogged burner flame openings. Low-quality flames could also be caused by too little gas or too little air getting to the burner. Adjust the air shutter to see if the problem is air, but call for a pro if you suspect the problem is not enough gas. Hope this helps!

Can’t unscrew burner plate to change the igniter. Screws too tight tried everything I know to remove them. Is there any other way of doing it?
For model number Kgrc608
Hi Paul, Thank you for the question. If the screws can not be removed, they may need to be drilled out and replaced. Hope this helps!

Igniter arcing below at connector, will changing it make the burner work correctly
For model number kgst307hwh9
Hi John, thank you for your question. Yes it could. You may also want to take a look at your igniter switches harness and your spark module as well however. You should be able to test those parts with a multi meter to determine what is wrong. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

One of the burner on the stove stop ( smallest one ) wont click or light
Which part I should change or which one i should order
Thank you
For model number W3CG3014XS00
Hello Reena, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, we would recommend checking the knob, part number PS11745696. If the issue still occurs, we would recommend checking the orifice holder, part number PS3494441, by manually igniting them with a lighter. If it lights up, then you may need to replace the surface igniter, part number PS11747432, and if it does not light up, you may need to replace the orifice holder. We also recommend checking the regulator, part number PS12348157. We hope this solves your problem!
Burner igniter clicks but doesn’t light gas. On ignite position gas flows, so I can light the flame with a match/lighter. Does the ignitor need replacing or is it something else? Thx
For model number kgcc766rss01
Hi Steven, thank you for contacting us. We believe your cooktop is having this problem due to a faulty surface ignitor, part number PS11747432, which may need to be replaced. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
