Kitchen Aid Oven (gas range) will not preheat
My Kitchen Aid (Model KGR1801) gas range would not preheat. I did some online research and found that the gas range valve regulator is most likely the problem. I spoke to someone from a local appliance repair shop and he informed me that the gas valve is known to fail on this particular Kitchen Aid oven. I ordered the part from PartsSe

oven and broiler not working
I just looked at the tech sheet on the range and tested the gas valve with an ohm meter to see how much resistance I had and compared it to the tech sheet and noticed the gas valve was bad. So I replaced it with a new one from part select which arrived very fast. It was quite easy to replaced it.

Oven not preheating
I called the place that I ordered the range from and set up a repair date. The repairman came out and diagnosed the problem and had to order the part (Valve). I noticed on the repair ticket the cost of $172.00. I checked out this site and found it a whole lot cheaper. I called the repairman and advised that I found the part cheaper and ex

Is the way to change over to natural gas from propane.
For model number KGSS907SSS00
Hi Frank,
Thank you for your question. In order to switch back to natural gas, you will need to purchase 2 of the surface burner base orifice holder - left rear and right front, part number PS11748689. 1 of the surface burner base orifice holder - right rear, part number PS11748694. When installing the gas regulator, there are two wires that were already off the posts when i was able to see the posts. They are blue and red. The orange was the only larger one, so it was easy to match. Can you tell me which color is top post and which color is bottom
