I tried to pull the oven away from wall using door. Left side popped out so i removed door entirely. Reinstalled per directions on youtube howver didnt notice that the latch had moved to a psotion that doesnt allow the door to completely close any more. Now the oven wont turn.

Hello Nelson, Thank you for your inquiry. That can be caused by a faulty latch, or if the door is not closing completely-in that case you would have to move the latch back into the correct position. Although we do not have a repair video for this exact part number, I have included a link for a video for a similar latch to show you how to replace it/put it back into place. Hope this helps!

Microwave will not start. set cooking time on panel, it works, press start and panel screen reads "Door" and will not start. Latches on both sides fully engage when door is closed. Thank you in advance for any insight you can provide.

My oven door will not latch. Repair man said I need a new latch. He said he would order the latch and that it would be here July 2 and would cost about $140? It has been 3 months since he said he ordered it. Can you help me? Repairman said latch is bent. Lena

Oven door is locking even in preheat have to turn off and after a few minutes it will unlock door
For model number RBS245PRB06
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your question. I would suggest checking your latch first. You can test that with a multimeter. If that part is fine, it may be your electronic control board that is the issue. Good luck with your repair.

If this part is bad will they've not work?
Also, is it difficult to replace?
For model number Kdrp707rss01
Hi Dennis, thank you for reaching out. If the motorized latch is bad, it will no longer be able to keep the oven door locked and secured when closed. This is an easy replacement, like a DIY project. We hope this solves your problem!

I tried the self cleaning, I walked away came back. And since then I get on the display "door" and it doesn't heat. Which I checked and verified it is sitting correctly, everything is closed. The oven light doesn't shut off when the door is shut either. I press the light button (10 sec) and the display shows "E20 r:21 J06"

Hi Kevin, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, the issue is most likely with the oven door latch assembly, part number FIX11747306, and you may need to replace it to fix the issue. Before replacing it, we would suggest checking the limit thermostat for continuity. We hope this solves your problem!

Hello,
After a power outage wall oven RBD305PRS00 door did not open . I had to manually open the door by sliding the latch using a Screwdriver.
However, now the door shows as open and light stays on. I’ve tried to reset the Oven, Autoclean/cancel but the door remains in open position.
Seems that the latch does no longer engage, even in Autoclean setting.
I’m not sure if the issue is with the latch Control Board WP8301848, or the latch motorized assembly WP9760889. I suspect a power surge has caused some damage….
Please advise.
For model number RBD305PRS00
Hello Peter, thank you for contacting us. We would suggest checking the door latch assembly, part number PS11747306, first. It locks the door during cycles and sends information to the latch control board. You may test the door latch assembly for continuity using a multimeter. We hope this sorts out your problem!
