Water that fills your dishwasher lifts this float, and when it reaches a certain level, it acts as a trigger for the float switch. The float triggers the float switch to shut off, thereby shutting off the flow of water into the dishwasher.

No water coming into diswasher
For model number KUDI24SEBL3
Hi John,
Thank you for your question. If there is no water coming into the dishwasher, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve, the middle spray arm, the upper spray arm mount and the float stem. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Dishes do not dry completely
For model number PDT715SYN3FS
Hello Joe, thank you for the question. There are several reasons your dishwasher may not be drying your dishes properly. We would recommend making sure the heating element is operational. If it is, then the next part to inspect is the vent. The vent releases hot air during the drying cycle. If the vent is not opening properly, steam can not escape and your dishes will still be wet. Inspect the vent and clean off any debris that may be restricting airflow. If the vent is not opening at all, you will need to replace the vent fan assembly, part number PS12726435. The vent fan assembly circulates air through the door vent to help reduce moisture. We hope this helps!
