The planetary on my mixer dropped down about 1/4”. Part number 9708036. Do I need to replace this to fix the problem. I have ordered a worm gear which will be here tomorrow.

Removed cover, removed retaining clip from shaft. Removed gear, removed shaft pin. Removed shaft. Installed new planetary and installed pin, gear, retaining clip. Installed covers. Tested Sat.
