Changed the Drive Coupling
I took off the worn piece. Screwed on the new one. I would have liked and would have paid for, a fitted tool to the drive shaft; which would have made the repair far easier.
To start with the coupling, I followed the directions by using a flat screwdriver and a thick towel. I placed the towel under the screwdriver to protect the base unit from damage as I pivoted 1/2 of the tip under the coupling, pulling it up as I went around until the coupling popped off. Then I cleaned the remainder of any metal left behi
... Read morend. Then I attempted to screw the coupling on clockwise but the screw opening was slightly to small. So I plugged in the unit and held the coupling with the screwdriver in place and turn the unit on stir and it screwed it on clockwise. Next, the seal was replaced at the bottom of the jar. And I was finished. Easy as pie.
I removed the bottom part of the blender and added the seal to the blade area, screwed it back on and voila! I appreciate that it was so easy.

rubber coupling came apart
I used a flat screw driver and gently and forcibly removed the part as recommended in the instructional manual. Putting the replacement part was not at all difficult. With the new part in place the blender now works like new.
followed instruction, prying off old coupling and screwed new coupling on less than 5 minutes. Parts came in a timely manner. great service, satisfied customer

I am looking for a rubber washer to fit the the cover.....used to be a gray washer but any colour would do just fine.... thanks for your help, this is the only part missing to an otherwise perfectly working blender

Is this part wp9704204 the washer for the lid ? I need the lid washer not the one at the bottom of the vase.

Hello Daniel, Thank you for the question. Very sorry butt he washer for the Lid was only sold with the Lid. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
