How much is a new float for my dishwasher and how do I know if I can fix my old one? How do you install a new one? My grandson pulled mine straight up and I heard spring disattach from the bottom.

Can one purchase just the impeller on motor # 8283457?

This was an easy repair.
The part was in great condition and arrived as expected. My son watched the video on how to install it and total time at the most was 30 minutes. He turned the portable dishwasher on it's side to access the bottom of the dishwasher and followed the directions through the video and it wasn't long and it was installed and the dishwasher was up and running. No leaks.
