The plastic pin meant to insert into the processor when the bowl is snapped in place
(and thus enables the machine to process food), was not springing into its intended orifice. I tried to repair my original bowl but couldn't. For $18 I was able to save my favorite kitchen appliance. The handle on our bowl had broken at the latch
This bowl fit perfectly and was a much cheaper alternative to buying a new Kitchenaide food processor. No assembly simply switch the bowls out.
Replacement bowl for Kitchenaid 7 cup food processor
Replaced broken bowl. The locking mechanism is not sturdy on the original and breaks in the bowl handle. If this replacement lasts, I will be happy because I really like the processor.

Just want to be sure that yours has a white handle, because my bowl has a black handle. Again , this is the bowl itself, not the bowl cover (lid).The handle contains the control that works in conjunction with the connection on the lid to make electrical contact. Am i correct?

I've had my food processor for a number of years and cannot find the manual. I am not sure what size it is. Can you tell me the size from the model number? The serial number is whw3072817. Also, the handle on the work bowl is broken so i think i need to order a work bowl for it. Thank you for your assistance.
