Correct part. Worked as expected
The control knob arrived in a timely manner and was easily installed. PartSelect has instruction videos to assist consumers with repairs and installations, though a video was not required to install this simple control part.
This part is offered in several colors designated by the manufacturer and I took my best guess on color based on the computer image. The color of the knob was not a perfect match to the original but this does not affect its functionality hence an exchange is not required. Our washing machine resides on a service porch and is out of view.

It arrived in tact, and pushed onto the shaft as expected My only other comment is that the price was ridiculously high

The part was extremely hard to get onto the holder. We had to use WD40 to get it to glide on.
The knob is great now that is on the appliance and works great.

Easy repair BUT the PRICE!!!
This is a plastic knob replacing the one that broke on our washer.
It should sell for $5 and allow PartSelect to still make a hefty profit.
But no: it is sold for $28 (twenty eight $) plus another $8 for shipping and handling.
This belongs to the predatory pricing. Shame on Part Select and Whirlpool to allow such robbery..

Control knob broke - because entirely plastic, turning interior metal selection rod
Pulled off the broken knob. Fairly disgusted with Whirlpool for not bothering to put a metal / aluminum sleeve inside to avoid the exact breakage I experienced. Part Select, however, had the part, got it to me exactly in the time frame I asked for and it was the correct part. I would definitely use Prat Select for any such need.

Belt Wheel was broken at axle. Terrible noise.
Removed the top and back of dryer with screw socket. It was quite easy. Then, I removed the broken wheel by releasing the tension spring. I replaced the wheel. The toughest part was re-threading the belt. But, even that was simple. The dryer runs smoothly and quietly again!

If you remove knob and sleeve remains, you have to use needle nose pliers to remove. Pull straight up, don't wiggle back-and-forth too much. If you put too much pressure on glass-top, it can crack. Prying is DANGEROUS on glass-top stoves.
pulled old broken knob off and removed metal clasp on knob stem. Then pushed new knob on in seconds and worked fine. Of course wife was inpressed just complained about the knob color, but can't do everything perfect!
