My dryer won’t come on when I close the door. A little piece that hangs down that the door press in is broke off. What do I need to replace it?

When I press start, I hear a click, the motor does not turn-I hear a hmmm.
The belt is good, I can turn the motor spindle easily (belt detached), drum spins freely. What do these characteristics indicate?
