center element of triple burner was not working.
I pulled the unit out from the wall. Took the screws out along the sides. Removed screw holding the front controls loose. First I changed the control switch which was very easy. Two screws and a couple of wires. The burner was a bit more tricky. I had propped the glass cook top up so I would not have to disconnect to many wires. Took out
... Read more the screws holding the burner in place and disconnected the wires. I removed the clips from the old burner and attatched them to the new burner, then reinstalled the new burner. The only real problem was the wires. I forgot the order of a couple of them. I was able to check on line and get the correct order.
It was fairly easy if you a handyman there is a few things to to figuer out like taking the glass top off once that was done and you can see the elements it's easy to do from there.

Large big burner on right stays on at highest temperature. Is this considered a dual burner? What part should I purchase for burner to work properly?
For model number JES9800AAW
Hi Frank, Thank you for the question. The Large right front burner is the Dual Burner. I suggest replacing the switch that controls the burner, Part Number: PS2003583. Good luck with the repair!
The pin between the infinite switch and the knob is broken. Can i buy only that pin?
For model number YGY399LXUS03
Hello Andre, thank you for your question. That pin slides into the back of the knob itself, and is a part of the knob. You would have to order the knob to replace that pin/clip. I hope this helps!

I changed the bake element ( it at exploded), i verified de long sensor ( 1k ohms=ok), but the new element will not work. What else should i check? Thank you.
For model number JES9900CCS02
Hi Joey,
Thank you for your question. If you have changed the bake element and verified that the sensor is fine, you will need to check the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. We hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let us know.

I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you’re looking for is Part Number: PS2330678 for the cooktop and Part Number: PS11744433 for the oven light. Only way to know if the element Part Number: PS11764915 or the switch Part Number: PS11744272 is defective is to test them with a multi meter to check the continuity. Hope this helps!

Dual element issue on right front burner, Whirlpool GY397LXUS0: When the control knob is set to both inner and outer rings, it works fine; both rings are lit and heat up. However, when the control knob is set to turn on just the inner ring—the outer ring turns on instead. Is something wired backwards? Or could the infinite switch have failed? Thank you.
For model number GY397LXUS0
Hi Laurel, thank you for contacting us. Based on the description you have provided, the issue is most probably with the infinite switch, part number PS11744412. It turns the surface element on and off and controls how much heat the element produces. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
