Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. This gas valve knob measures approximately 2 12 inches in diameter. It is a black knob that has white lettering aroud its perimeter denoting the different temperature levels: low, medium, high, etc. This valve knob is made of plastic and will accept a 'D' shaped shaft.

Housekeper broke knob several years ago and left that burner out of service.
I eventually searched online for a supplier and ordered the replacement knob. Ordering was easy and delievery was quick. Replacing the gas valve knob was easy; just slid it in place. Now all 4 burners are available for cooking again.

Surface of stove top was discolored with use

I would like to buy stainless replacement knobs vs the black plastic, is that possible?

Hi Amy, Thank you for the question. Unfortunately a Stainless Steel version is not available for the model number provided. The manufacture has only made the black plastic version that came with the appliance. Hope this helps!
