Right hand door would not auto close.
Removed the top door hinge cover.
Remover the four 12mm hex screws.
Lifted empty door off bottem hinge support.
Removed old door closure.
Put some silicon lub on the new closure and installed.
Reversed the removal steps.

But this did not fix the problem. Will have to remove the door and inspect the inside of the door's lower hinge assembly.

Door bushing
I bought a set of appliances used online and the fridge door did not align to the other door. I quickly noticed I had lost the lower bushing to the right door upon transportation so I did what any man would do...find a way to fix it! after checking out a few websites I ran accross Partselect and after seeing their "dummy proof" diagrams It was certain I couldn't mess this up considering the loads of bushings to choose from. The order was placed Monday morning and to my surprise I had a package the VERY NEXT DAY!! AMAZING delivery time and quality products. PartSelect is definately my appliace parts source from now on! Thank you!

The left door (the one with the "flap"- don't know the technical name) won't close unless i firmly push it shut. It used to close on its own. I watched this partselect video and i wonder if this is the answer to the problem: Https://www.Youtube.Com/watch?V=fwchyaivsq8. Or do i need a different part? Thanks.
For model number KBFS25EVMS0

Hi Jeannine, Thank you for the question. When you open the door and just let go and the door sits still in the wide open position and not returning to the closed position, you should replace the Door Closure. If the door returns to the closed position but does not seal or latch closed you will need to replace the door Mullion Rail(flapper) Hope this helps!

My wife kinda remembers vacuuming up a what i now think were the broken plastic flanges last year, and both doors now need forced closing and appear lower, so the mullion needs to be manually closed. The new door closers ( wp67003639) arrived but on visual inspection are the wrong color, i ordered replacements today, but importantly the closures seems very large for the allotted space (that i can see) on the door and hinge. Is there a shaft they will slip up into, it's not clear on the site explosion drawings. I don't want to take the doors off and have the wrong parts.

Hello Mark, Thank you for your inquiry. The door closers go up through the door stops part# WPW10191119 and into the bottom of the door, otherwise there is not a shaft they slip up into. Hope this helps!

Hello Brian, thank you for writing. This may be due to either the Vertical Mullion Rail, part number PS11738596, or the Door Closure, part number PS11743548 for your model. Good luck with your repair!

Fridge door can be pushed closed, but pops (or eases) open unless we tape it. Fridge door also pops open when we close freezer. Is this a gasket issue?
PartSelect logo
Hi Georginna, Thank you for your question. Closing a refrigerator door can sometimes cause the other door to come open. The reason for this is that air is designed to flow from one section to the other and when you slam the refrigerator door for example, this will cause the air to go from one cavity to another. There are a few things that you can do to try to resolve this issue. Because the smaller door is more likely open, place heavier items in the freezer door shelves to prevent the door from opening when you close the refrigerator door. Also, make sure there is nothing in the freezer or refrigerator section that is preventing the doors from closing all the way. Check the door gaskets to see if they are clean and sealing properly. If they are not sealing correctly because they are dirty, you will need to clean them with a solution of baking soda and water. The solution should be 1 part baking soda to 3 parts water. Wash both the gaskets and the surfaces they close onto. On the hinge side of the gasket, lubricate it with paraffin wax. If your refrigerator has levelling legs, make sure they are levelled correctly. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Where is the open door alarm located and is there any easy way to silence it if it stays on when the refrigerator doors are closed. I'm assuming something has failed in the circuit board. Constant beeping is driving household crazy.
For model number JFC2089HES
PartSelect logo
Hello Donald, Thank you for the question. To stop the alarm noise, with the door open, press any key then close the door. If the alarm is activated again you may have an issue with the temperature inside the appliance and the appliance assumes it is due to an open door. Hope this helps!

Hi John, Thank you for the question. I suggest check the hinges first to make sure they are allowing the door to sit level. If the hinge is good you may need to replace the Closure. Hope this helps!

The right side door does not stay open. It is level. It has been repaired before. I believe they just replaced a small plastic or nylon part at the bottom of the door. I would call it a detent . Sound familiar? Could I have the part or part number please.

The right fridge door doesn't close properly. If i close it without left door it bounces back to about an inch.If i close it with left door closed, it closes but not great, still open space at the top between seal and fridge cabinet. I leveled the fridge, took weight of the door, cleaned the seal. Any idea what it might be the problem? Thanks.
