My ice maker is leaking water into freezer and ice bucket, however, it would make ice but leaves lots of frozen water all over the freezer. Is this a faulty elbow-fil or ice maker?

Hi James,
Thank you for the question. I suggest checking the water valve to see if it is over filling the ice maker. You can turn the water off to the appliance and fill the ice maker up with water to see if it works as normal. Most times with this issue the water valve will need to be replaced.

Thank you for the question. Sounds like the water valve is "stuck" open a bit and letting water through and causing the ice maker to over flow and leak. Here is the part information, Dual Water Valve, Part number PS11743618.

My ice maker is not receiving water and does not make ice because the water is leaking between the connection of the tube and the elbow-fil. Do I have a blockage or does a paert need to be replaced?
