I've owned this refrigerator for several years. The doors do not return shut on their own anymore. If I replace the hinge bushings, will that likely fix the issue? Do I need to replace both tops and bottoms? Other parts, too?

Hi Ken, Thank you for the question. Only way to know for sure is to check the parts for wear. I suggest checking the Door Stops, Part Number: PS11743722 as well as the bushings. Hope this helps!

Me again. More specifically, the right door tends to pop open a bit when closing the left door, which has a swinging rod on it that provides a seal between the doors. So, perhaps the hinge bushings on the right door are worn, which allows it to pop open?

Hi Ken, Thank you for contacting PartSelect. if the Right Door pops open when the Left closes, I suggest replacing the Mullion Rail, Part Number: PS11738595.Good luck with the repair!

Hello Fara, thank you for your question. Based on our research, if your doors are popping open when other doors are closed, sometimes this is normal. Typically, this is caused by air quickly moving from one area to the other, and the force of this air causes the section to open. We would recommend checking the following parts: door closer, part number PS11738468, and flipper assembly, part number PS11738598. We hope this sorts out your problem!
