Looking for the water filter bypass plug. Will this fit my Whirlpool gold series model wrf736sdam13 has water filer every drop 2 in it.

Hello Harry, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, that is not a part that is compatible with your unit. The correct Water Filter Bypass Cap is WP12664501. Unfortunately, it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued. There is no part substitutions listed. I hope this information helps!

I ordered and received the Whirlpool bypass plug part # wp61003791 but it does not fit. It is too large. Am i doing something incorrectly trying to replace the filter. I had a cullligan system installed so i do not need the filter.Thank you!
