The shelf retainer bar end cap is used to keep the retainer bar in place, and can be used on either the right or left hand side of the bar. This white, OEM end cap is approximately 2 inches long, and made entirely of plastic. The shelf bar and cap snap into place on the door to attach the door shelf bar to the inner door liner. This part is also known as a rail end cap. If the door bar is not properly attached to the inner door liner, your items will not be secure on the shelf, and are likely to fall.

I pressed the end caps onto the retaining bar. Lined up the tabs and pressed the retaining bar back in place. The first side went in very easy. old end caps were cracked and shelf was bent
snapped in the new parts - took less than 30 sec. Best part about this company is their incredibly speedy ship time.
The clips on the part had broken off. As a result the bar was not held in place.
Removed the old cap from the metal bar. Slipped the new cap on the bar. Fit the bar back into the slots in the frig door.
It was perfect. The part arrived on time. The fix was quick. And simple.

The bottom brackets on the inner door were missing.
The frig had broken brackets on the inner door. I connected the clips to the trim piece and I snapped the entire piece into the slots on the door. Presto! All finished.
slid new end caps onto bar and snaped back in to door. It took less than 1 minute.

The end caps broke on several of the retainer bars. The retainer bars kept falling out and so did my food.
I replaced the broken end caps by inserting the new ones into the ends of the retaining bar and then inserted the entire piece into the slots of the refrigerator where the bars were missing because the end caps weren't holding the retaining bar and I had to place them in a safe place outside of the refrigerator.
