The heating elements on my cook top still works. I just need the glass cover to go over the halogen burners on the right hand side of my jenn air cook top. Is this the part I need?

The glass is black and the trim is stainless.

What is the difference between this glass top and wp7920p201-60
Hello Debra, Thank you for the question. The Manufacturer Part Number WP7920P201-60 is a Black Top with no trim and the WP5705M140-60 is Black with trim. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

Will part # wp5705m140-60 work on a jenair model c236b with a a121 cartridge? If not do you have any suggestions on a cartridge that will work?

Hello Frank, thank you for your question. If you're model uses designer line cartridges (ones that plug in on the short end of the cartridge) you would use PartSelect Number PS9491822 for the entire cartridge. I hope this helps!

What are the dimensions of the glass itself and what are the outside dimensions of the frame, please?

Broken glass on cooktop
Simply removed screws holding glass and frame to cook elements and replaced with new glass and frame.

The replacement was very easy. The glass and frame come as a unit.

I also purchased a complete element assembly. Replacing the element assembly requires no tools and no work ... simply remove broken assemply and place new assembly into the range.

Broken glass top
Took about 10 minutes at the most. Unscrewed 6 screws. Took old top off screwed new top on. New top is a much better design. Amazed how fast we got it! The old glass was completely flat. Since I very rarely change out tops for my grill, I forgot which end the plug in was. I thought liquid had run under and the glass was just stuck. When I forced to hard (on the wrong end) the glass cracked. New glass has a small raised bump on the free end so you always know which end to lift! Very happy!!

Glass top replacement
Part received has a little modification as part of a new design. It basically adds a sort of frame to the actual cartridge glass and also a "notch" to facilitate the lifting for cleaning purposes. Installation was easy and straight forward.
