Drum support rollers were shot, idler was changed as well, new belt installed, 2 new thrust washers and felt pads were installed as well.
Repair parts were exact OEM, went very smooth. Longest part was cleaning the inside of dryer and cutting new vent pipe exit.

... Read morethen loosened the drive belt, removed the drum and the external grip ring securing the idler pulley. The pulley rotated very hard since the shaft and bearing were partially seized. I cleaned the shaft before installing the new pulley. When I initially took the dryer apart to see what the problem was I noticed the front drum guides were showing wear so I ordered and replaced them and the felt pads just to prevent problems in the near future.
Screaching on start-up, then continuous after time

Very easy repair. I took off the bottom fromt panel with a nut driver. Then I took off the face/door panel. Take note of the wires that need to come off by marking them with a sharpie or tape. ... Read moredrum glide was completely gone and both cylinder glide brackets were almost completely worn through. I just replaced the brackets and the pads. The old felt came off fairly easily. I scraped the old glue for the felt off with a knife and cleaned and dried the surface before applying the hi temp adhesive. I waited 1 minute while the glue became tacky (be careful, the glue starts out thin and tends to run) and the felt pad was easily put back in place with my wife's help. Everything was very simple and it cost $87.00 for parts and shipping. I felt that this should be a good investment since I have had no other problems with this dryer and this is normal wear and tear. Better than paying $600+ for a new dryer. The video for changing the felt pad was very detailed and easy to follow as well.
Pulled off the lower panel with 5/16 socket.Pulled off the door assembly by removing the two screws at the bottom of the door assembly. I pulled down a little and then out. be carefull of the wires. ... Read more screws that hold the front piece in.pulled it off replaced brackets , installed self adhesive felt(stuck good) and then glides. Mine were thin but not the problem. I then reached under the drum and released the belt from the tensioner. I then pulled the whole drum out.This is the time to vacum out good. I could get to the rear rollers very easy. The left roller was shot and the shaft half wore into(the problem). I pulled off the two screws holding the roller support. Normally You have to remove the wheel with snap ring pliers first to remove the support. In this case snap ring long gone. Replaced support shaft, installed thrust washers and roller with grease for both sides. The right support shaft was still good. Removed tensioner pulley and inspected. It was just as good as the new one. Cleaned and greased and reinstalled. Put new belt on the tub and slid it back in. Be carefull to get the belt on the proper side of the tensioner. I then installed the front supprt in place to support the tub with the 4 screws. Spun the tub(felt good) then reached under and reinstalled belt to motor and tensioner. Spun again to check for belt alignment. (Check) Reinstalled door an lower panel. Test Quiet Sounds like new. Very easy! I hope this helps someone just as the other post has helped me. Parts that were recommended for the noise issue were spot on. Instructions were very helpful and made the job go very smooth. Replaced the belt, rollers don't forget to order (2) felt pad and idler pulley replaced. The part suggestions for the heat problem did not fix the problem. ... Read morego off. A few min. later the burner would try to ignite but would not start. The igniter would get cherry red but no activation. I end up replacing the coil kit. Turned off the gas removed (2) screws and wala done 5 min. and it fixed the problem.

If the felt pads are missing from the drum glides, will this cause the drum to rub and scrape?

I replaced the belt, drum rollers & drum glides. The drum glides are shredding and the dryer is still very noisy. At start up, it seems like it’s having problems going and then when turning, it seems like something is rubbing. I am ordering the drum felt but it appears both back & front felt is the same. I also need the adhesive to glue for the felt. Do you sell this as well?
