4.0 cu ft. Washer. The control panel has died with my wet clothes in the washer. The door is locked and will not open. I must open the locked door and get clothes out. I've been trouble shooting with manual, online, with Whirlpool. Only recourse is to take front panel off and release with a manual lock underneath front panel. The screws are very close to the ground and i am having trouble finding the right size hex nut to go on the screw so i can loosen the 3 nuts holding the front panel. Can you tell me the size of those screws so i can go buy the right tool to take panel off? I see you sell the screws but i can't see the actually size. Thanks.
For model number WFW9150WW01
Hi Lana,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not have the measurements of the screw. One thing that you can do to get to those screws though is tip your machine back carefully and just enough so that you have easier access to them. Or if you can, get someone to tip the machine back and hold it for you. Good luck with your repair.
