For the knob itself, part W10559477 is the white knob, W10559476 is the black knob, and part# WPW10559475 is the stainless steel knob. We are providing you with the instructions that will help you in replacing the fan switch. 1- Remove the grates from the cooktop. 2- Remove the burner cap and burner bases. 3- Remove all the knobs using sting. 4- Now lift up the appliance and use two pieces of wood to support the appliance above the countertop. 5- Now unthread all the screws securing the orifice holder to the maintop. 6- After removing the screws, lift up the top. 7- Unthread the screws securing the fan switch. 8- Disconnect the wire connection and replace it with the new one. Hello Roy, Thank you for the question. If you can remove the knob and turn the shaft manually and it operates normally, you need to replace the knob. If the shaft will not turn, you will need to replace the control switch. Hope this helps!
