Looking for the burner control knob assembly. Is this part the correct one for my model cooktop? Diagram shows part number cross reference part number wp4456836 replaces: 4456836. Please advise.

Hello Richard, Thank you for your inquiry. This part is the switch that goes behind the knob. For the knob itself, part W10559477 is the white knob, W10559476 is the black knob, and part# WPW10559475 is the stainless steel knob. If you need the grommet/bezel that the knob fits into as well, part# W10559485 is white, part# W10559486 is black, and part# WPW10559494 is stainless steel. Hope this helps!

My Flame adjusting knob won't turn and the Flame will not shut off. Also on another knob it wont move to turn the gas on. What is the problem. Thanks for your expert advise, i'm getting hungry

Hello Roy, Thank you for the question. If you can remove the knob and turn the shaft manually and it operates normally, you need to replace the knob. If the shaft will not turn, you will need to replace the control switch. Hope this helps!
