Does this part include the outer glass as well as the stainless steel outer door/heat shield?

Can the outer door glass be ordered separately? What springs need replaced to keep the door from opening too quickly?

Hi Frank, Thank you for the question. Sorry but the glass is only sold with the panel. The springs for the Stainless Steel door are PartSelect Number PS11742586- Right Side and PartSelect Number PS11742585 for the Left Side. Hope this helps!

Hi Jean,
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not have an installation video for that part. However the installation is not very difficult. You would use a putty knife to gently pry back the tabs that hold the front of your door to the back frame of your door together. Once you have freed those parts from each other you would do the same thing to the inner choke panel as well. That would open up everything so that you can change the glass in your door. While repairing my door spring the front outer stainless panel fell and the glass shattered. It seems to be attached to the SS outer panel with adhesive. Can I order and replace just the glass or do i need the entire stainless outer door panel/facia with the glass glued to it. If I replace just the glass not sure how I will get all the glass shards off the adhesive. Any thoughts on this and what part I should order here

Hello Dave, thank you for your question. The glass is not available separately. So you will need to replace the Oven Door Outer Panel PS11742580. You may find some tips on YouTube regarding the shards of glass. Good luck with your repair.
