The upper heating element in this double oven burned into two pieces. I found the heating element to replace the broken one. When the element burned into, molten metal fell onto one of the glass light covers on the back of the oven wall causing it to break. I have not been able to find this part. What suggestions do you have to find this part? Due to the age of the oven (15 years), i thought i would replace the door gasket and the screws that hold the element are rusted and will be replaced. While i am going to do this much to the oven, do you have any suggestions on anything else that may need to be replaced. Thank you for your help in finding the part and any suggestions.

Thank you for your question. I was able to find the light for your appliance and I have listed it in a link down below for you. For replacing more parts I might suggest also replacing your bake element but honestly, if all of your other parts are in good shape and they are still working, you should be alright. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.
Removed back of oven. Disconnected 2 connectors on each side of element. Removed screws that were too rusted to use screwdriver with vise grips. Removed old element, inserted new element through holes in rear of oven.Installed 1 screw on each side of element in rear and 2 screws in front where brackets support the front of the element.Put back panel back on. Push oven back in place, plug back in outlet. It works great and I didn't have to pay service man.
Turned off circuit breaker to oven Removed oven door Removed screws of reflector plate and top and back of oven Gently pulled element out and down slightly Removed slide crimps on wires Replaced reflector plate on new element Connected slide crimps on wires Screwed reflector plate with new element to top and back of oven Done. Total time 22 minutes Tested and it’s perfect!
