Where is the defrost timer located on model dicnf17c don't know if (Magic Chef or Admiral)
Hello Carlton, thank you for your question. Per the schematic, it looks like the part is located behind the appliance, down by the compressor area. I hope this helps!

Extreme amount of moisture. How can i tell if the defrost timer is bad or the thermostat. Lots of water inside the fridge, drips a lot
For model number RB19K-1A
Hi Leonard, Thank you for your question. You can test your defrost timer and thermostat with a multi meter to see which one is malfunctioning. On your defrost timer, test terminals 2 and 3, if it reads infinite ohms, then the timer is bad. To test the defrost thermostat you will need a glass of ice water. After removing that part from your appliance, test the connectors. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I'm having trouble with the refrigerator running almost all the time. The freezer is fine and the temp in the food section is fine also. There is no sweating around the door so i think the door gasket is ok. Can't figure out what it is.
For model number Magic Chef RB21KA4AF--BG76A
Hello Dale, thank you for contacting us. You will want to pull the fridge out from the wall and inspect all the coils and make sure there is no dust build up on them. If there is this will cause the compressor to constantly run. If that checks out ok then it could be a defrost issue. If the the freezer is in the defrost cycle for too long or too often it would cause the fridge to constantly run to maintain temp. Hope this helps!
