My washing machine would not agitate
I removed the screws on the back panel and took off the panel. Then I turned the knob counterclockwise and removed that.I pulled off the selector knob also. There were two screws holding the timer in place. I removed those and pulled off the plug..... Then installed the new one. My washer is as good as new.
